My work addresses youth and identity. In the summer of 2019, I overheard a conversation between my cousins Erik and Silas. They were talking about philosophy and discussing whether the colors we see are actually the colors we think we see. The dynamics of the conversation and the individual personalities of the two inspired me. Their worldviews interested me, and I wanted to delve deeper.
